My name is Ben Ratliff and I serve as an associate minister at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cleveland, MS. I am husband to Caitlin and father to four daughters: Eliza, Charlotte, Susanna, and Maggie.
As one called to labor in the ministry of the Word, much of my time is spent reading, writing, and thinking about preaching & teaching. Some of that will appear here, as well as edited sermon and teaching transcripts.
Many of these articles start as sermons I’ve preached. I use AI tools to help reshape a sermon into a readable article, trimming, tightening, and suggesting structure. I don’t use them to supply the ideas or the theology. Everything comes from Scripture and the sermon, and I read, edit, and stand behind every article. As I’ve written before, a tool amplifies the craftsman; it doesn’t replace him.
