Big Changes for GA 2026
Public Advice & Overtures Library
For the first time, I am releasing my own public thoughts and commentary on this year’s PCA GA Overtures.
Given the scope and weight of the overtures before the church court this June, I wanted to put my own cards on the table.
To make these thoughts as accessible as possible, I am distributing them in two ways:
A Standalone PDF: A comprehensive, downloadable document you can print, mark up, or read on your tablet during travel. (Link to PDF here)
Integrated Directly Into a Brand-New Web App: Overtures Library
My commentary is fully cross-referenced and readable right alongside the overtures inside a tool built at Polity Matters to help everyone track the conversation (as well as those of Howie Donahoe and David Coffin. Both men gave permission for me to use their advice, and I am glad we have a varying of perspectives represented.)
The app is currently in Beta, and you can access it right now at: overtures26.replit.app
Because it’s built as a modern web app, you don’t need to download anything from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Instead, you can easily pin it directly to your iPhone, Android, or Mac device. Once added, it behaves just like a native app— complete with its own icon on your home screen or dock, launching in a clean, full-screen view without the clutter of browser tabs. (See below for instructions.)
We Value Your Feedback!
As this is a Beta release, I am actively working to improve the user experience and ensure the data is as helpful as possible. Please dive in, look around, and let me know what features you’d like to see next or if you run into any bugs.

The tracker will now have its own icon on your app drawer or home screen, ready to launch without the Chrome browser interface.
💻 For Mac (macOS Sonoma or later)
Note: Apple added native web app support to Safari starting with macOS Sonoma.
Open Safari on your Mac and go to: https://overtures26.replit.app
Click on File in the top menu bar.
Select Add to Dock... from the dropdown menu.
